While balancing a design degree with hands-on experience.
I was tasked with updating the company website by enhancing the SEO with photography shoots of the products offered by Wheelsn’ Boards and editing them to achieve greater engagement on the website. I’ve merged my passion for design with the vibrant culture of the Byron Bay skateboarding scene.
Working in this dynamic environment has allowed me to develop my technical skills and deepened my understanding of client-based work with the team at Wheelsn’ Boards.
I was tasked with photographing various types of boards with an illuminated light box to do all of my product shoots.
Pulling those images into Lightroom, I would clean the image up,
making everything uniform.
Finally those artworks would be superimposed onto the boards in Photoshop.
The art of mock-up creation bridges concept
and reality, allowing potential clients to see how their unique designs would appear on the final product. Whether a vibrant graphic or subtle engraving, these bespoke representations play a crucial role in the decision-making process.
